Actually Kabir Sahib was not born but He appeared on a lotus flower in a pond named "Lehar Tara" in Kaashi (Varanasi, India).Likewise when He died in 1518, His body was not found, only flowers were found which the disciples of Kabir Sahib (Hindus and Muslims) divided amongst themselves. The Hindus cremated them and The Muslims buried them.
Kabir Sahib was much more than just a poet. He gave the knowledge about the four vedas and the Bhagavad Gita and other Hindu scriptures through his speech called "Kabir Vani or Bani". The main compilations are the Kabir Sagar and Kabir Bijak.
