The first two that come to my mind are: The Sleeping Beauty in Disney's 1950 animated movie. Shirley MacLaine's character in Terms of Endearment (1983).
"Sleeping Beauty", is a fairy tale classic, the first in the set published in 1697 by Charles Perrault. For the source and more detailed information concerning your request, click on the related links section (Wikipedia) indicated directly below this answer section.
As a short answer, I would say that the theme is that of good triumphing over evil; however there is a variety of "sub-themes," such as: all suffering will eventually come to an end, and that unjust oppressors will pay for their actions. One could almost say that there is also an element of "karma" to this story. What goes around comes around.
The most known one is "Dreams Come True". There might be other ones but that is the one that they put mostly anywhere with Disney.
It's a little dated now, but in bygone days when you had to go to the drug store or kiosk to pick up your developed photos, a friend of mine always sang out loud while waiting for the clerk, "Some day may prints will come".
Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, Jasmine were all born into their titles. Though some were put in situations to not use their title.

Snow White was rescued by Prince Charming (RE: Someday My Prince Will Come Lyrics: "Anyone could see that the prince was charming...)Sleeping Beauty (Aurora) was rescued by Prince Phillip. It is arguable that Cinderella's Prince is Prince Charming although there is no evidence to support this.
their is no wrong answer here but in my opinion its Cinderella <3 all the princess stories have a background Beauty and the Beast = looking beyond the image in front sleeping beauty = one day he will come Cinderella = if you work hard you will be rewarded etc etc :D
I believe the series was Britannica's Tales Around the World (1991). The fairy tales they did were Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Rumpelstiltskin. They were hosted by Pat Morita who is Asian American. You can find all 3 stories on VHS at Amazon.com.
