why did the titanic sink
There was a ship named Titanic, of course, and it did sink when no one thought it would. But the love story that is in the movie did not actually happen.

why did the titanic sink
Titanic was discovered in 1985, explored in 1986, and thousands of artifacts were salvaged in 1987.
Many-or-most of them are in storage but the artifacts salvaged from Titanic are in on display to the public in several traveling exhibitions that go from city-to-city
No. Titanic hasn't been raised or salvaged, and is unlikely ever to be so on account of the conditions of the ship and the difficulties in working on that depth. Salvage would be hugely expensive and unlikely to ever repay the investment
it would be on display maybe.

Many pieces of Titanic have been found in the debris field, including the "big piece" which has been salvaged and is now on display at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas.
The Travelling Exhibition has removed over 18k artifacts from the wreck of Titanic and displays them in shows that move from city-to-city. Several Titanic museums do not believe in salvage, however, and do not stock items salvaged from the wreck.
