The Titanic did not have a band or orchestra as such as they had two distinctly separate groups of musicians and they did nit sing under a name. when the ship started to sink they got together ( this would have been the first time they performed as one group> until the ship went down. The name of the bandmaster was violinist Wallace Hartley. He sent a letter from the vessel which was delivered and is now on display at the Titanic Museum in Branson, MO, USA.
