The loss of the Titanic was by far the more shocking, both because of the sheer number of lives lost (1,705) and the way in which they died- terrified, desperate and helpless. It also shocked the wider world by dealing the pre-First World War confidence of the ruling classes a stunning blow. Up until then, they had been secure in a belief that they were immune from the sufferings and misfortunes of the lower social orders- but that night in the freezing North Atlantic, they very soon realised that they were not, and that the richest and most upper class passenger on board was in the same situation as the poorest steerage immigrant or boiler room stoker. The supreme surety of their social position and the technology that served it was terminally destroyed, and would never be quite the same again.
The Britannic was serving as a hospital ship during WW1- it was an outrage that a ship clearly marked as such should have been torpedoed, but such wartime atrocities were not unheard of, and the crew knew that there was a risk of this happening. Thanks to efficient evacuation procedures, all patients and medical staff survived the sinking- only 28 lives were lost, mostly stokers and firemen from the engine room, although the manner of their death was very horrible and does not bear repeating here.
Britannic was the third and final ship of the Olympic class. Problems found in her sister ships were corrected in the new design. Obviously, more lifeboats and new davits were added, and "watertight" bulkheads were sealed at the top. But designs were also changed. Britannic was made 2 feet wider than Olympic and Titanic, and her aft well deck was enclosed with a small promenade. Thus Britannic was larger than Titanic.
They both have fictional aspects but the actual sinking of the ship was more accurate in "Titanic". When "A Night to Remember" was made in 1958, it was not known that the ship had broken in half while sinking.
i'm not sure but, what i'm sure about is some day a bigger ship that the titanic will be made.CorrectionTitanic was the largest passenger ship at that time, but many, many ships since have been considerably larger.
When he found out that the ship was sinking and more than half the people onboard would die he had a mental break down and committed suicide by drown him self in the bridge of the ship.
lol lolThe sinking of Titanic caused the deaths of more than 1,500 people
As I heard, Britannic was even more unsinkable than Titanic ;]

There was no ship called Britannic Titanic; there was a White Star Line ship named Britannic. Of the two (Britannic and Titanic), the Britannic was larger.
RMS TITANIC She also had two identical sister ships, the BRITANNIC and the RMS OLYMPIC. The BRITANNIC was supposed to be a passenger liner and even more luxurious than her sisters, but she was turned into a war ship to hospitalise injured soldiers.

Olympic sailed the seas for 24 years, then was scrapped to make more ships and boats:(Britannic crashed into a mine on the Greek coast and sank:(
Many survived the sinking. One of the more famous was the "Unsinkable Molly Brown".
