In my honest opinion I feel that Martin Luther King faced racism by looking at the situation in a different light. Yes, whites did not like blacks and yes there was a lot of violence, but I think he turned to God and with God's help he saw through the racism. He encouraged others to protest without violence and try to find a peaceful means to end the racism. He went to jail fighting for what he believed in. I think to be honest this is an opinion question to some like it is to me. This is how I see he faced racism.
