how does the use of point of view create suspense in a passage
They use creepy music, floors creaking, and black shadows. They do a lot more but idk them :)
It really depends on the hole and where it's located. More importantly, it depends on what type of flat screen TV it is. Some TV's use a clear plastic sheet over the screen itself to protect the screen from damage. Those can usually be replaced. If it's a plasma set, or a LCD set, you just may be completely out of luck. Best bet is to call a TV technician and have them come out to look at it. Without knowing more, there's nothing more I'm able to do to help.

You can use system("cls") function with stdlib.h
For computers that have Windows installed, you can use System("CLS"); to clear the screen. This statement calls on the operating system to find the "cls" command and execute it. However, this statement makes your program less portable as it makes it dependent on the Windows OS in order to clear the screen.
