yes hideo kojima said that the series will continue but this time solid snake will not be the hero however in an interview hideo kojima said that a new metal gear game called metal gear solid rising will be released soon and raiden wil be the potogenst 9hero0 of the game
Well there are two shorts titled "Gear", made in 2013 and 2014, and then there is "Top Gear" (2002) which is a TV series and "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" which is a video game
Over 9,000.

Kojima Productions created the Metal Gear Solid series. They are published by Konami.
Hideo Kojima.
No. The entire Metal Gear Solid series has been Playstation-exclusive all the way until Rising. Metal Gear Solid Rising will be for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
Hideo Kojima invented Solid Snake, who is the main character in the Metal Gear Solid games. The Metal Gear series is a Japanese video game series, and the character of Solid Snake is controlled by the person playing the game.
Metal Gear Solid: Rising will be released on September 24th 2010 and will be the final game and the first game from the MGS series to be released on Xbox, (cause PS3 is better!) Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker is effectively a Sub-Series following Naked Snake or John who is Solid and Liquid Snakes genetic father on the PSP, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence (PS2) follow Naked Snake also.
Very unlikely, but on PS3, there's a lot more fun Metal Gear Solid series;better than Metal Gear Solid:Peace Walker.
metal gear solid1, metal gear solid 2 sons of liberty, metal gear solid 3 snake eater, and metal gear solid 4 guns of the patriots.
Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
There already is a 1998 called Metal Gear Solid which is based of the stealth video game series. In 2012, there will be a sequel to that movie.
I highly doubt that any of the Metal Gear Solid series (1 - 4) will be re-released for the X-BOX 360. But luckily Metal Gear Solid: Rising staring Raiden will be on the X-BOX. Hope this answered your question.
I hope not, that would be a disgrace to the entire series
yes! even the creator said so! don't believe me? search it up!Search it up my butt! MGS4 is not the last metal gear series. Metal Gear Solid: Rising is coming out. don't believe me? search it up!No. Since Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker was released in April of 2010. Hideo Kojima mentioned in an interview that he personally believed this to be Metal Gear Solid 5, in the sense that the development team for this game was the same size as that of Metal Gear Solid 4. Metal Gear Solid: Risinghas since been retitled Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, and is being developed by Platinum Games for release in February of 2013. As of August 2012, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes has been announced, which will be the next canonical installment in the Metal Gear saga, and will presumably follow the exploits of Big Boss.
