The plot of the television show Lost revolves around the survival and life of around 48 people who have been stranded on a mysterious, tropical island after surviving the Ocean Flight 815, a commercial passenger jet, crash. Each episode typically focuses on a primary storyline on the island at present and then focusing on a secondary storyline from another point in a character's life.
"Lost" is an amazing series about the survivors of Oceanic flight 815. They land on a beautiful, but mysterious scary island in the South Pacific! The series has past and future flashbacks. There is love/romance, acceptance, hope, and death. This seriously drags you in! There are mysteries from Season 1 that will not be revealed until this final season that premieres Feb. 2nd. And we all just wanna know our characters are "okay". There were also other people on the island- including a possibly crazy French woman who crashed on a boat there, the "others" and DHARMA workers!! I highy recommend watching.

It is impossible to say which tv show is the best ever because people have different opinions, However judging by the large percentage of people that say "LOST is the best tv show ever" LOST would most certainly be among the front runners, IMO there is nothing to touch LOST, from the moment it first aired to the moment it ended it was virtually flawless, and even now almost a year later people are still passionately discussing the intricate plot details, and the fan groups are still growing at a massive rate. IS LOST THE BEST TV SHOW EVER? IMO YES.
