There are 6 main things that happen in breaking dawn. Bella and Edward get married, Bella gets pregnant, Renesmee Carlie Cullen is born, Bella becomes a vampire, Jacob imprints on Renesmee, the cullens have to try to prove to the volturi that Renesmee was born not made.
Well, the main idea is to give people a world in which they can escape to, and the theme is vampires, werewolves and true love.
