The highest earning Friday the 13th film is Freddy Vs. Jason earning $114,908,830 worldwide.
The highest earning Nightmare on Elm Street film is the 2010 Remake of the 1984 Original earning $115,587,084 worldwide.

it is an opinion but I think 'the last house on the left' is a pretty scary movie.
