There are a few choices.
Lugia is both very excel at defense and special defense, and its typing is excellent, not to mention its speed and movepool. Lugia is recommended if you dont have much room and you already have a mixed tank.
The second choice is the infamous SkarmBliss. These tanks take up two slots. However, there is a reason they are so infamous. Skarmory excels in defense and has pretty good hp. Blissey has enormous hp and special defense. These two combined cover all supereffective types except for Fire. However, Lugia is more recommended since it only takes up one slot and mixed sweepers such as Salamence with Brick Break and Flamethrower can easily defeat Skarmbliss.
The last choice is not very reccomended, but Forretress and Snorlax make a decent pair. Typing is fairly nice, with Snorlax`s nice hp, sp defense and attack paired with Forretress`s excelling defense, they make a pretty decent pair....
