The Quad 405 is domestic HI FI power amplfier which was introduced around 1977 (or thereabouts )
It was rated at 100 watt/channel and was notible in its design as being a 'current dumping amplifier' which used a combination of feedback and feedforward to reduce distortion to very low levels
One of the benefits of the original design was no setting up on the work bench and nothing to drift over time,
The units proved very reliable and where always produced an honest sound
They could be bettered but have really stood the test of time - they are a classic
a mark 2 version came out in the 80's and this is the one to go for
I own three of them !

current amplifier
the use of swamping resisters in amplifier is in order to protect the amplifier from high temperatures
A mono amplifier. You need two for stereo.
1.Small signal amplifier can be designed easily using s parameter while large signal amplifier not.
Yes, 405 is divisible by 1, 3 , 5, 9 , 15, 27, 45, 81, 135, 405.
In watt watt watts
what is the cab size... single, extended, double, mega??
I've seen a Logic chip, 2 input quad NAND gate IC, that was set up as a Audio amplifier circuit.
405 x 405 = 164,025
5% of 405 = 5% * 405 = 0.05 * 405 = 20.25
38% of 405 = 38% * 405 = 0.38 * 405 = 153.9

The LCM is 405.
Darlington amplifier has more gain when compared to cascade amplifier .
405%:= 405/100 or 81/20 in fraction
It is 405
