PS3 originally had 4 USB ports and after a few models they all came with 2 USB ports. The PS3 never had a model with a single USB port and the early models with 4 USB ports are the ones that play some PS2 game titles. The production of any 4 USB port model ended with the 2 USB port 80 GB PS3 model release in August 2008.
The only way that older Playstation 2 dual shock controllers will function with a Playstation 3 unit is through the use of a Usb controller adapter cord which allows the controller to be plugged in through the units Usb port and used.
Yes it should work. Vice versa as well.
All the components needed to connect 2 computers together are two Ethernet cards, a network switch and 2 Ethernet cables. Alternatively a single USB transfer cable can be used for simple file transfers.
For all except the first generation of PS3s the Memory Cards are created in your harddrive and this system is for the PS and PS2 memory cards. Other cards that are not for games can be downloaded using a USB memory card holder and the PS3 USB port. You need to purchase one that holds the type memory card that you have and then you will not have a problem downloading it to your Photo, Music, and Video ares of the PS3. You will not get access to the games area

use kvm switch, for more info serach for "kvm switch".
There are number of manufacturers that make a device called a KVM switch. KVM stands for Keyboard, Video, Mouse. These are available in a number of flavors. They support serial devices, USB devices and some are IP enabled to allow for remote access to physical console of the machine.
hi there.. yes you can purchase whats called a KVM Switch. These are usually either 2 ports, 4 ports or 8 ports. Basically, its a little box, with a keyboard / mouse input, monitor input together with outputs for 2, 4, or 8 PC's or other devices. The keyboard / mouse input is from your usual keyboard and mouse to the switch. You also add the dsub (monitor lead) into the kvm. The kvm will have separate leads, in which to return the monitor, kb, and mouse back to your desktop, laptop. Usually you can switch from PC to PC, by pressing the scroll lock key twice, followed by the other device number. EG if you have a 4 port kvm, its scroll lock x2, then no 3, to access the 3rd PC. Together with the KVM switch, you will also have to buy the leads. (Some kvm's come with them included, but many don't). Hope this helps Be safe Nige Cadishead Computers

DVI KVM switches are used for a number of things. They are used to connect multiple computing devices to a single keyboard, mouse and monitor. They have PS/2 and other USB keyboard mouse connections.
Who told you it had no USB ports? Of course it has USB ports. The iMac has 4 USB ports, 1 Firewire port, 1 Thunderbolt port (2 on the 27" iMac), 1 Ethernet port.
2 at the front and 2 at the back.
Not really but it does have 2 ports.
It takes about 2 hours to charge and will charge from any USB port or USB charger that delivers 500ma or more.
