絕世好劍, which mean's "the legendary sword". The sword is literally heavy, and releases dark aura. It is believed that the goddess left a mysterious stone before she went back to the sanctuary. The stone is called "Dark Winter", construct by the coldest element. After centuries, the world is suffering destruction from a kylin, a blazed unicorn. A blacksmith then built a sword with "Dark Winter" to conquer the kylin.

Heavy stuff for kids, i would say. the closest might be Lilo and Stitch who lost their parents to an automobile, not an aircraft accident. Apart from the vehicular accident backdrop- the story is very similar - but with younger characters to the infamous and banned from TV for decades- Riders On The Storm. ( Riders On the Storm introduced the subject matter of- well one of the sisters worked out of a somewhat sordid house- not haunted, but something else. ( a brothel).
