There are community colleges that offer both the transfer and technology associate degree in engineering. I would suggest you start with your home county community college. It's less expensive than the four year colleges and universities, more community oriented, smaller classes with better student to professor ratio, which means more individualized attention. The community college is a great place to start. If you wish to transfer to a four year institution afterward to pursue the bachelor's degree, you can.

There is Rule in UGC norms about teaching load of Assistant Professors. I did not find any Rules as per AICTE. The teaching load of Assistant Professors is 16 and of Associate Professors and Professors it is 14 as per UGC Gazette.
