What is Johnny's personality in The Outsiders?

Bob Sheldon was Cherry Valance's Boy friend, and he is a Social or a "soc" as the greasers call him. Bob is 18, he has black hair, and he is "everything" to Cherry. He jumos Johnny and Ponyboy after they "pick up" Bob and Randy's Girls. Johnny Kills Bob while he is drowning Ponyboy.

he doesn't really have too many traits because he died like 5 pages after he was introduced. But he is very tough and cold. He is a drunk who's cherry valance's boyfriend. And according to Randy ( bob's bff) he always got what he wanted his parents never said no. So bob tried to do something that would make his parents say no because felt needed and alone inside. but that never happened and he tried everything to do that! Before johnny killed bob for self defense. The reason johnny killed bob is because randy and bob tried to jump them and where drowning pony boy to death.

He's a passive sort of character, who is part of the group more out of a need to belong to something due to his poor homelife. Ultimately, he's a tragic character in that he selflessly saves the children, and dies as a result.
