What the Cheyenne Indians would eat would be buffalo and berries. Usually they would eat chicken, but since they were Plains Indians in Colorado: plains or prairie and there was A LOT of buffalo (Buffalo or the American Bison).

They did not have much vegetables or fruits because the short grasses had such tough roots that a digging stick couldn't break the soil.
