Alternative sources of energy
AnswerRed Dwarf does the extended run to the outer planets, it is one of the medium haul vessels collecting various minerals in the form of ores from the moons of Uranus and Neptune primarily. Much of its mining equipment takes the form of rock blasters and ore-scoops, it is not usually mining those elements and minerals which occur raw in seams: there are more specialist teams with different equipment doing that. However, because it is a great investment of time and money to get the ship out there from the inner gas giants (given that it is a ship based in the Jovian system,) the mining crew will tend to return a great bulk of raw rock and ore, sorting it through during the return journey. The variety of material collected is used for many things, including energy, industry, construction and scientific uses. You don't want to hang around on many of those moons, they're pretty inhospitable and suits are harder to maintain that a chunky ship, which explains the lack of discrimination in the collection. AnswerOn the contrary, Red Dwarf is a deep-space vessel. The high level of technological advancement clearly present in Red Dwarf would be completely incompatible with taking years to get from one part of the solar system to another. They go into hyperdrive, for heavens' sake! As for what it mines, it seems evident to me that it mines asteroids. The claw at the bow is obviously to latch on to an asteroid while the mining machines extract its resources. It was hit in the hull by an exocet missile.
Like its sister ship the RMS Titanic, the HMHS Britannic also sank at sea. During World War 1 the ship was used as a hospital ship and struck an underwater mine on November 21st 1916. The ship sank and thirty lives were lost.
She was stuck by ether a underwater mine or a torpedo, but most people say it was a mine.Unfortonatly, she was discovered and the divers realized, the big ginormous gunk, was a torpedo.
They land their module in the ocean until a crew comes and brings them back.
The sister ship of the Titanic, Gigantic (also known as Britannic), sunk on November 26, 1916 in the Aegean Sea. It is still debated today whether she was hit by a torpedo or if she struck a land mine.
The company that owns the 'Red Dwarf' ship is the Jupiter Mining Corporation.
Jupiter is a gas planet. There is nothing to land on.

A mine that gets attached to a ship is called a limpet mine. It gets its name from the shellfish called a limpet that clings tightly to rocks and sometimes ships.
Mine Countermeasures Ship
it doesn't have relation ship
Magnetic mines were designed to detonate when a ship's magnetic field triggered their sensors. When a ship came close enough to the mine, the mine would be attracted to the ship's magnetic field and detonate, causing damage to the ship's hull.
I've been searching for a definitive answer for that as well. But I think I seen somewhere that in order for us to orbit Jupiter our ship would need some serious shielding since the radiation from Jupiter's enormous magnetic field would kill us instantly.
Jupiter has 63 known moons to date, but, Yes it would be possible to land a probe on any of these.
it is a mine layer
