Well, when I visited the store, everyone had to wait outside because they were filming an episode. When we finally got to go inside (about an hour later) nobody from the show was in there and some of the stuff from the show wasn't for sale. So in my opinion, Pawn Stars is not real.
No. As of September 2017 he is still alive.A hoax story started circulating in May 2013 that Chumlee had died from a "marijuana overdose". The story originated from a spoof article on the Internet Chronicle web site. (The Internet Chronicle was a web site that posted ridiculous fictitious news stories for humorous purposes) . A subsequent fake news story repeating fake news of his death was also published the following year on the equally phony eBuzzed website.

I was just watching Pawn Stars on The History channel (01/25/2011). A gentleman brought in an actual can that was labeled Can Can Pearls. Believe it was from the 1950s. Not quite as round as a tuna can but looked about 3 inches tall. the pawn shop bought it for $10 and opened it. Inside was a strand of fake pearls. It was 17" long and had a metal clasp.
An item is fake or is a reproduction. E.g. Guns, medieval swords.
Yes. There is a real Pawn Shop. I don't know if the "Old Man" runs the store but there is definatly a pawn shop. It is in Vegas. Go and see it. It's fun and the prices are good Pawn stars is a fake show. however there is a pawn shop in Vegas yes. and it is real and they sell real items. and it does run as a normal pawn shop. BUT what you see on t.v. is fake and stages. i know this because a friend of mine owns the mellow yellow car from the movie days of thunder. and they called my friend and offered to pay him to come on the show and sell his car. they way they work is they will find something ANYTHING and ask the owner if they want to come on the show and even if they do make a deal the original owner will still keep it and there is no money changeing hands. so yes the pawn shop is real and the do function as a normal pawn shop. but what you see on t.v. is fake and staged.
Has to be
