Imaginary limes are sweet and tangy. =D
But imaginary lines on the other hand refer to lines of latitude and longitude. The 'beginning' latitude line is the equator, which is at 0 degrees and runs east-west around the middle of the earth.
The 'beginning' longitude line is the Prime Meridian, which is at zero degrees and runs north-south between the poles and goes through Greenwich, England.
Between the Prime Meridian and Equator are other lines that go in the same directions and have different degree names (30 degrees west, or 60 degrees north etc.) They're "imaginary" because of course there are no big lines running around the world, they're just for maps.
A map of Australia and New Zealand can be found in an Atlas. A map of these two countries can also be found on a globe.
Hey this is Lily4eva and you will be seeing allot more of me on this site and all of my answers are true! A globe is a replica and true representation of the earth's shape and surface. A map cannot provide an accurate representation of the earth's surface because it is a flat surface. (Try pasting a map on a globe.) It doesn't work. Maps use projections like the Mercator Projection to show the earth's surface but it causes distortions because a map is flat and the earth is spherical in shape.
Yes, Look at an Globe or A Atlas.New Zealands just south of Australia.
About 30 degrees north or south of the equator, usually represented by a light sandy brown color on the map.
Lack of portability, a globe is a bulky object. it is far easier to plot courses on a map, using some straight edge or protractor, etc. the Globe is more accurate, but the map is more practical. The Captain handed the Navigator a sexual chart- oops, I mean a sectional chart- these were in some cases scaled to fit right over the steering columns of aircraft!
The horizontal lines are called latitudes and the vertical lines are called longitudes.
The imaginary lines on the globe helps because it divides the Northern Hemisphere from Southern Hemisphere. Therefore, imaginary lines are helpful.
A globe is round. A map is flat.
no, because a world map could be a flat map and a globe cannot be a flat map.
the diffrence between a map and a globe is that a map is basicly paper and the globe is round and that you can spin it around. There`s that and the texture
An advantage of a map is that a map is easy to carry. An advantage of a globe is that a globe is a 3D version of the world. A disadvantage of a map is that on a map the continents are stretched. A disadvantage of a globe is that a globe is hard to carry around.

a globe
A map is printed on paper; a globe is the world map printed on a globe, which is round.
because a globe shows it better than a map.
