In Canada, the requirements for same-sex marriage are the same as those for any other marriage. It varies from province to province, but generally you need:

You have to be at least 16 years old and not live at home. If you live at home you will have to wait until 18 when you will not need your parents permission. Of course you have to be Canadian, sound mind, not under care, but there are few restrictions. You can marry if divorced, marry someone of your own gender, or different gender, you cannot marry animals or things so I guess there are some limits.
