Were there any other tv shows similar to the power rangers?

Around the time they were released, there were shows such as VR Troopers(3 with no specific colors), Beetleborgs(3 in metallic suits. First was blue, green, and red. Second was Gold, silver and purple. Even had a white and a shadowborg.) There was also the Masked Rider, who fought alone but did make an appearance in season 3 Power Rangers.

And their's Kamen Rider. 12-13 Kamen Riders, each with their own animal that is the base of the Kamen Rider's power.

Yes. They fought weird bad guys, like a giant ear. I thought they were called go rangers because they yelled go before attacking. The girl would throw a paper heart into the air which would land on and disable attacking enemies. It was Japanese, not dubbed, and on a UHF channel back in the 70's. I wish i could find it.

There were many! Mystic Knight of Tir Na Nog involved knights. Tattooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills was another entirely American-made show unlike Power Rangers. VR Troopers, Masked Rider and Beetle Borgs were all like Power Rangers and were adapted from Japanese shows like the Power Rangers were.

Yes there were other TV shows that were similar to Power Rangers notably Saban's Big Bag Beetleborg and Saban's VR Troopers. Beetleborgs is about a group of 3 young kids who go into a Haunted House and they free a phasm who goes by the name of Flabber and because of them freeing him he's willing to grant them a wish which they wish to become their favorite comic book superheroes; the Beetleborgs and because their wish was granted the villains from the comic books; the Magnavores have also been unleashed from the comic book dimension and will remain open until the villains are returned back to the comics.
