A couple are The American Black Duck, the American Robin and Crow. And everyone's favorite, the Bald Eagle. Many birds live in Michigan.
It called a Robin because its breast is red, even though it is not related to the European Robin. It is called American because it is found in America. (Similarly birds like Magpie Larks and Magpie Gesse have nothing to do with Magpies. They are just black and white.)
Some birds do such as the robin but others do not.
