Well, the phrase vantage point is a person's advantage of a point of view or being able to see something that others really can't. The movie Vantage Point is about a bombing in Spain or some other place, and the movie takes different vantage points (view points) from different people. The main character is on the secret service and is trying to stop the bomber from getting away. I don't wish to ruin the story so I will end it at that.
