Both of the live action Death Note movies have been dubbed in English and released in the US and in the UK. L: Change the World has also been dubbed and was played in US theaters for only two days in 2009. Like most things anime-related, the movies can probably be found on YouTube, although for some reason the dubbed versions are hard to find. Fan-subs, however, are abundant. Here is a link to "part 1" of the first movie with subtitles: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UiaB7oj4Sh4&feature=related
The other parts can be found in the uploader's channel or int he "related videos" section to the right of the video and below the description.

the link above no longer works. i have tried to find the full subbed movie on various sites with no such luck.
The movie is already out in English dubbed (not subbed or in Japanese)... It's not in anime form either... It's the first movie... I have no idea when the second one (Death Note: The Last Name) is coming out... But I own the first one, and, though it's different in many ways from the original anime episodes, I think it's very good (though, I do recomend you rent it or watch with someone else before you consider buying it...).
