Robin then asked Little John to take him to the Kirklees Priory where his cousin the prioress worked. When Robin Hood arrived at the Priory Gatehouse he was taken up stairs to a private room. The prioress then opened up one of Robins veins and left him alone in till the next evening. On the way out prioress locked the door no one knows why she did it may of been because she cared for him or for some other reason. When Robin Hood was in his weak state Sir Roger of Donkestere (who may have been in love prioress) climbed through the window and stabbed Robin Hood in the arm. Why is it illegal in South Dakota to shoot a robin?

Robins are protected by the Migratory Birds Treaty Act of 1918, so it is illegal to shoot robins in the nations which have agreed to the treaty. Those nations are the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, and Russia. Since South Dakota is part of the United States, the treaty applies to South Dakota, thus making it illegal to shoot a robin in South Dakota. The Migratory Birds Treaty Act was one of the first environmental laws and was designed for the protection of migratory birds. The treaty was enacted in a time when many bird species were threatened by the commercial trade in birds and bird feathers.
