The last Survivor of the Titanic disaster, Miss Elizabeth Gladys 'Millvina' Dean (born 12 February 1912), died on 31 May, 2009. This date was exactly 98 years after the Titanic was first launched. At the time of the sinking, she was a two-month old baby and the youngest passenger onboard. The second-last survivor died some time during the week of November 4th, 2007. She lived in Glendale, Arizona.

The last survivor died in 2009 and was a 2 month old baby at the time of the crash

Millvina Dean, who as a baby was wrapped in a sack and lowered into a lifeboat in the frigid North Atlantic, died Sunday, having been the last survivor of the 1912 sinking of the RMS Titanic.

She was 97 years old, and she died where she had lived --- in Southampton, England, the city her family had tried to leave behind when it took the ship's ill-fated maiden voyage, bound for America.

She died in her sleep early Sunday, her friend Gunter Babler told the Associated Press. It was the 98th anniversary of the launch of the ship that was billed as "practically unsinkable." Dean was just over 2 months old when the Titanic hit an iceberg on the night of April 14, 1912. The ship sank in less than three hours.

Dean was one of 706 people --- mostly women and children --- who survived. Her father was among the 1,517 who died.

There are no survivors from the Titanic still alive. Millvina Dean was the last of the 706 surviving members but unfortunately died at the age of 97 in her home in Southampton on 31 May 2009.

No, the last survivor, Millvina Dean, died in 2009, at the age of 97. She was just an infant, 2 months old, when the ship sank back in 1912, and while her father died, she and her mother and little sister survived.
