If Africa were self-sufficient for food, they would be able to feed their entire population. The existence of famine and the need for help from other nations to help alleviate hunger means that they are not self-sufficient.
Yes and no. I can't wait to get my drivers license but at the same time, there are some teens who are very intent on getting their drivers license who are not mature enough to be able to drive. They don't take driving seriously and are very reckless about it. No. The age for driving should not be raised. I think we as a country should lower the age for drivers training and keep the driving age the same. That way people cant blame the accidents on en experienced drivers. Also, they wont have to depended on their parents to get from place to place because people are starting to get jobs at the age of 14. So those who think the age should be raised are basically saying that you are guilty and experienced before they even get into a car. Not to mention, the people that have their drivers license before 18 will get theirs taken away even if they are completely innocent.
Under the Motor vehicle act- Mini choppers are considered illegal- however, not sure what is defined as a mini-chopper - if its the size of a pocket bike then definitely illegal. If its big enough to be considered a scooter, it may be licensed as an Low Speed motorcycle (LSM) which has certain restrictions, such as 49cc or less, does not go faster than 70kph. You do not need an MC license for an LSM but you do need some kind of drivers license, preferably a class 5, although you may be able to drive with a class 7.
Hello, For starters, "emancipation" does not exist in Canada, only the U.S. In Alberta you can legally leave, but, with that being said, you must meet the minimum requirements: A) You must have family willing to take you. B) You must be able to support yourself or the people taking you in, must be able to support you (i.e., pay for schooling, food, shelter, clothes, ETC) C) You must be enrolled in school until you either, turn the legal age of majority (18), or until you graduate, because you parents still are responsible for you, unless you go the Alberta courts and get a court order saying you live with somebody else other than your parents, but you need a lawyer. It most cases, you "leaving" would most likely be considered as a "runaway" in Alberta. But if you can demonstrate safe living, continuing school, being able to pay for yourself, or somebody else for that matter, then the police and law enforcements forcing you home are very low. There are two different types of emancipation that can be applied for in Canada. "Simple emancipation is a legal process that gives a teenager many important rights but not full adult status. Full emancipation is a legal process that gives a teenager almost all the rights of an adult" . One would have to file a declaration with the Public Curator and would have to file to have their case presented in court to file. The person may also have to prove that they are self sufficient and able to take care of themselves.
yes I think you should be able to do it.
If the suspension period is over, you should be able to.
I think you would be able to convert it, you have to contact the DMV office in Ontario who should be able to help you out.
