3 years old might get scared. Really scared. the Final battle against the giant octopus siren witch is pretty scary has a lot of thunder and noise and she dies in a pretty gruesome way. Depending on the children it can be prettu traumatic, similar to Sleeing Beauty's dragon or Bambi mother dying. Disney movies for the most part have scary bad guys and be watched with supervision. This is not Peppa Pig

Come on people, it's The Little Mermaid... he's a crab... my 9 year-old niece just watched the movie. Sebastian is a crab. A crab. SEBASTIAN in LITTLE MERMAID IS A CRAWFISH. Sebastian is a Red Jamaican Crab. Sebastian is a bloody red Jamaican CRAB, not a bloody lobster! Because he lives under an assumed shell, he is a hermit crab.
you could probably watch episodes of the old little mermaid on youtube. if not look at the channel site and it might have a watch now section. XD

No, you can't!When a 8 years old girl or boy goes to the water, they not be a mermaid or a merman! Like in the Disney movie, The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the sea , it's when a 13 years old girl sawm to a octopus-liked villain and then she become a mermaid.
It all depends on how old and/or mature your kid is. I would say the anime is appropriate for a 14 year old or mature 13 year old, but the manga is a lot more graphic, so I would wait a little for them to read the manga.
I believe the hello kitty is appropraite for an six year old girl. The thing is if you let them listen to age appropriate things or not.i believe that is up to the parent or guardian.
