CNN is democratic while fox is republican. Ignore the fact that Nancy grace is an idiot though, she's not a great representation.
While news stations are ideally not supposed to lean towards one side or the other, realistically, they tend to.
CNN would seem to lean more to the left of the political ideological scale than the right. That would make it further away from being a "Republican" station.
Fox, however, is known to be clearly to the right and favoring Republican stances.
Other contributors have said:
It seems so.
They're a Democratic station.
I would not say definitely Democratic, they are left leaning, and I would say the majority of the anchors are Democrats or Unaffiliated individuals who vote democrat, but no as far as news organizations go they are probably the most centrist with MSNBC sitting on the far left (see Keith Olbermann) and Fox being on the far right (see Sean Hannity).
Not formally, but it may as well be. FOX "news" is run by "big business" tycoon Rupert Murdoch, who uses the station to promote the Republican agenda. Although many viewers believe the broadcaster provides a "fair and balanced" version of the news, the company has been taken to court for telling blatant lies and spreading Propaganda. The court's upheld their right to distort the truth under the First Amendment; however, the misinformation being provided is more accurately termed entertainment than news.
