Normally, 13 feet, six inches. Some states west of the Mississippi River allow a statutory height of 14 feet.
A semi tow truck trailer can get up to 8'5 ft tall from ground to head top. Yellow tow-trucks are 7'5 ft tall.
can you be more specific? a sports car 4 ft, a average truck 6 ft, a 1 ton work truck, around 6 1/2 ft. that's around factory. low riders with chopped tops, alot lower, raised pickups, alot higher....
i be leave any trailer can be max 13 foot 6 inches but be careful! a lot of bridge decks are much lower than that especially on the east coast. im a truck driver and the lowest bridge deck less than 9 feet and that was at the highest point of the bridge decks and are lower in other spots of the bridge span. Best thing you can do is go buy a road atlas for truck drivers and they list all the low bridge decks for every state. Trip planing is key!
It's not standardized. Some shops might have 8, 9, 10 foot doors... others may have doors large tall enough for a semi truck to fit through (especially in the case of shops which use lifts, as the door height is often made to be proportional to the ceiling height).
For a truck I would get a Dodge Ram. If your budget can afford you can get a navigator lots of space and good car for a tall person. To make sure check some car classifieds in the internet and get the best deals for SUV's.
13'6
From ground to the top is 13 feet 6 inches
The correct use of the word Semi is to refer to the trailer, if a trailer has wheels in the front and back it is a 'full' trailer. A trailer pulled by a tractor/truck using a fifth wheel connection on the front and only having wheels in the back is referred to as a 'semi' trailer. The tractor trailer combination weights approx. 34,000 lbs empty, 80,000 lbs loaded. The tractor itself is around 18,000 lbs. Trailers vary from approx. 30-53 feet with the tractor adding around 12 feet for a total of around 65 feet. The standard height is 13' 6" tall.
A semi tow truck trailer can get up to 8'5 ft tall from ground to head top. Yellow tow-trucks are 7'5 ft tall.
70 feet long 13 1/2 feet tall and 8 1/2 feet wide.
I don't know how tall it is, but it is 53 feet long. It says this on the trailer.

They vary. A 'typical' 13'6 high box van would normally have an inside height of 110 inches.
The statutory height for a van trailer is 13 feet, six inches. Some states west of the Mississippi allow trailers up to 14 feet tall.
This is because of weight distribution and size. A large tall vehicle has a higher center of gravity and is therefore more unstable than a smaller car which would have a lower center of gravity. Semi trucks sometimes tip because of the items in the trailer moving to one side. When that happens, the truck tips. Vans are not as likely to tip at highway speeds. Vans would tip at an estimated 90-mph.
A garbage truck would be about 10 ft 6 inches tall.
