You are considered tall if you are of greater than average height. Children growing up would often be considered tall if they are taller than other children in their class or age group. Though people's perceptions vary, men would generally be considered tall if they are taller than 6 feet or taller in most countries. Women who are 5'9" or taller would be considered tall in most countries.
