The Watusi is a 60s dance based on dances of the Watusi tribe in Africa (I believe they are in Rwanda). The Watusi (the dance, not the people) is distinguished by the arm movements and the fact it works on the vertical axis of the body, whereas The Frug is a dance that is distinguished by the hips moving side to side.
