They are sold for $100 new $50 refurbished at retail stores and are worth less when being sold by an individual or used. Many go for only $20 used and some are traded in for even less
probably about 30 to 50 dollars
Likely less because they sell the systems refurbished for $50-60 at retail stores and amazon trade in vale is $17.90
you can play under a $100 for a new one and many used ones are available that include games and accessories
only about $20-25 dollars GameStop sells reconditioned models for $50 and new models are $100 Amazon has a trade-in value on the slim for $16.25 and a $28 value on the Toy Story 3 bundle
You might get more than $50 it depends on the games titles and how you sell them. Remember for the PS2 there are 150 million consoles and 1.5 billion games that have been sold and a number of people have upgraded to the PS3 and no longer need or want the PS2 systems once they have played the PS3
It depends on the games, i would go to Game Stop and get an estimate, they buy games.
PS3 are $249-99 for the 160 GB console and $299.99 for the 320 GB console. The PS2 does not have a high trade in value and the value of PS2 games varies with the title but many are only worth $1 or less. Even selling the complete system by yourself on Ebay might not get you $50 net. Many people have PS2 complete systems and amazon lists the PS2 slim trade in value at $16
They are pretty old and out of date. Both the PS2 and PS3 play the PS1 games. It has no value to me at all. Maybe someone would want it, but Gamestop will not touch it.
Probably not, but you can trade it in for money, and use some of that to buy an Xbox 360. The main reason for this is that the PS2 is not as high=profile and new as the Xbox 360, which is considered a much better console. If you want to trade something in for an Xbox 360, it should be as high-profile and desirable as an Xbox 360 itself.
