I don't know where the guy who answered $400,000 got his information, but all references I have found says it is more in the range of $25-40K per episode. I mean Ashton Kutcher only makes $1mm per episode for 2 and half guys, so if a big name like that makes only 2 and a half times more than Chumley, Really? I think you need to check your sources. I have to admit, I don't know how much any of them make, but I would think if you just thought about it for a while, it would make sense to expect a lower amount.
The TV show Pawn Stars is no longer on Netflix. It is one of many shows that has been taken off the Netflix service.

The original show Pawn Stars began airing on the History Channel in 2009. There is not just one particular person on the show that is considered the original "Pawn Star." Rather, all of the cast are referred to as the Pawn Stars. They are Rick Harrison, Richard "Old Man" Harrison, Corey Harrison, and Austin "Chumlee" Russell.
Well, when I visited the store, everyone had to wait outside because they were filming an episode. When we finally got to go inside (about an hour later) nobody from the show was in there and some of the stuff from the show wasn't for sale. So in my opinion, Pawn Stars is not real.

Its a new tv show on history channel where contestants answer trivia questions based on the show pawn stars. If they are succesful they win an item from the shop
Yes.. they had a 50th anniversary on the show.. they restored an old car for him
Rick Harrison Has been running the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop for 24 years as of 2013. Rick is the co-owner with his father. The Pawn Shop is featured on the hit show Pawn Stars.
Yes. There is a real Pawn Shop. I don't know if the "Old Man" runs the store but there is definatly a pawn shop. It is in Vegas. Go and see it. It's fun and the prices are good Pawn stars is a fake show. however there is a pawn shop in Vegas yes. and it is real and they sell real items. and it does run as a normal pawn shop. BUT what you see on t.v. is fake and stages. i know this because a friend of mine owns the mellow yellow car from the movie days of thunder. and they called my friend and offered to pay him to come on the show and sell his car. they way they work is they will find something ANYTHING and ask the owner if they want to come on the show and even if they do make a deal the original owner will still keep it and there is no money changeing hands. so yes the pawn shop is real and the do function as a normal pawn shop. but what you see on t.v. is fake and staged.
