No is the simple answer but he does lose an eye. Having said that in "The Wish," they are in alt. universe where he is a vampire and gets killed by Buffy in the big fight at the end of the ep.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer was created in 1977 by Joss Whedon and ran for 7 Seasons in total. 'Enemies' is the 17th episode of Season 3. In the episode, it becomes clear to Buffy and her team that Faith has switched over to 'Team Evil' and they accept that they will have to fight her.
Buffy Summers (The Vampire Slayer) originally lived in Los Angeles, California, with her Mum and Dad. One day at school, she is approached by (unknown to Buffy) a member of the Watcher's Council, and ancient organisation based in England, dedicated to eradicating the threat of demons, vampires and creatures of the underworld. Buffy follows this man, and is put into battle with a vampire. Realising her true strength and ability, she is sent to Sunnydale, California (a ficticious place and where her Mum decides to live when she divorces Buffy's father), which is atop a Hell Mouth. (An area where demons and vampires can cross into the human world). Buffy is mentioned in a prophecy: "Into every generation a Slayer is born. She alone will fight the vampires, demons and the forces of darkness. She is the Slayer". Unbeknownst to Buffy, she has been asigned a Watcher (sent to advise and become the Slayer's mentor), who takes the persona of the Sunnydale High School librarian, the school Buffy now attends. Angel (a recurring character and Buffy's love interest saw Buffy in Los Angeles when shown to him by a Demon called Whistler. Angel was a wreck, feeding on Rats once a month. It is the sight of Buffy that makes him into someone again).
Joss Whedon gave her the name Buffy because it sounded ridiculous, and he wanted a name that people wouldn't take seriously. In other words, a name she would have to fight for, for people to respect her. There weren't any other ulterior motives.
This question is an opinion...my opinion is yes.If you say....No- You may not like him because you may like more bad men. Angel is cursed with a soul, therefor he is good.Yes- He is kind, sweet, and personally...hot

The plot for Buffy the Vampire Slayer is about a young cheerleader who learned that she is suppose to hunt vampires for a living. Buffy also tries to save her fellow students after they were attacked by the other vampires because one was known for killing slayers such as herself. One of her friends get turned into a vampire and she ends up having to fight him to turn him back.

The stylish kid responsible for slaying vampires is Buffy Summers from the TV show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." She balances high school life with her duties as the chosen one to fight against the forces of darkness.

a slayer is meant to be able to use everyday items to fight off the creatures of darkness. like breaking a chair leg to get a stake or using a kitchen knife to behead a vampire.

Although it was never released to the public, there were two main reasons for Buffy the Vampire Slayer to end at season 7. One major one was the fact that the lead actress Sarah Michelle Geller publicly announced that she wanted 'a break' from acting as Buffy, and her contract had finished at season 7. Another reason was that the shows creator Joss Weldon got overly confident. He had an ongoing argument with some of the major TV producers, and so when the contract between Buffy and the Channel that it ran with ran out after 7 years, he left it too late to update.
