There are 39 symbols on the stargate (one being the point of origin) and you cant enter the same symbol twice, so the sum is 38*37*36*35*34*33 which is 1,987,690,320 (almost 2 billion) possible gate addresses in the Milky Way. The sum for the Pegasus galaxy is different as there are only 36 symbols (again one being the point of origin), 35*34*33*32*31*30 which is 1,168,675,200 (almost 1.2 billion).
However, the majority of these gate addresses DO NOT have stargates.
It is not made clear exactly how many stargates there are in any particular galaxy, but Stargate Canon places it as a FEW Hundred Thousand in the Milky Way.
There are over 10,000 trillion alien races/civilizations (100,000+ per galaxy; excluding humans) in the Battlestar Galactica Universe.

Yes, it is one of the best sci-fi TV series ever. The plot is very interesting, while the idea of aliens as a danger to Earth is already a very well known plot in the sci-fi genre. The characters are played excellently by the actors. You will get very curious, even more when the episode ends with a cliffhanger! It is one of the many TV series that has fans all over the world! Every Stargate series is really good(the aliens are either Jaffa or wraith)
None. Stargate Atlantis was cancelled after season 5 because the ratings took a dive.
Too many.
The only planet from our solar system that has been mentioned in the Stargate series is Earth. Other planets do not have stargates, since from the beginning the planets are not habitable.
It was never revealed the exact number of stargates. The only number ever given as to how many is in the thousands. I doubt an actual number will ever be given as new gates are revealed nearly every episode of Stargate Universe and Stargate Command has no idea where the Universe crew is. Theoretically though there can be millions if not billions of gate combinations. There are atleast 62 million possible gates for each galaxy using the known 7 symbol addresses and an additional 32 symbols for an 8 symbol address such as that needed by the Atlantis Series (Why does the word symbol not look like it's spelled right? Maybe it's simbal or symble, who invented this spelling anyway?)
Well, It's 1x2x3x4x5x6x7x8x9x10x11x12x13x14x15x16x17x18x19x20x21x22x23x24x25x26x27x28x29x30x31x32x33x34x35x36x37x38x39. I had gotten this number because I was looking at the possible combinations for the Stargate SG1 TV show, where apparently each of the Milky way Stargates have 39 symbols to choose from. However, on the other hand, there are only 7 "Slots" for these symbols to be entered into. So therefor I'm not sure how many actual destinations such a stargate could have, assuming that all possible stargate destinations could be utilized. It isn't 5,040, which is 1x2x3x4x5x6x7, but it isn't 20,397,882,081,197,443,358,640,281,739,902,897,356,800,000,000 either. It's all of the 7 number combinations in the 39 symbols. For which, I'm not sure how you get that solution. Probably some math thing I've forgotten.... Point is, lots of Stargate symbols. Of course, it's entirely possible you weren't referring to Stargate symbols and it's really something else, but anyway....
There are over 100 billion galaxies (with 100 billion+ stars (each containing 9 planets and 170+ moons)) in each one; as well as asteroid belts and nebulae) in the Stargate universe. Their light has taken 13 billion years to reach Earth.
There are about 1011 galaxies on the observable Universe. The actual Universe is much bigger, but nobody knows how much bigger. Answer2: Thee are >1012 galaxies in the universe.

A pair of short range exploration vehicles or shuttles flew off of Destiny during many of the planetary missions the Destiny Crew was involved in.
The Stargate program is from a TV show called Stargate. It has many sequels. It's a about a gate that you can travel through to other planets in other systems and galaxies. I recommend typing in Stargate SG-1 in to the search engine.
