In the musical 'Wicked', Elphaba is a freshman in college. We therefore assume she is around 18. But, she is three years older than her sister, Nessarose. It is both their first year at college, so she could be around twenty-one, or Nessa could go to college early at fifteen or sixteen, meaning Elphaba is eighteen or nineteen.
However, in the second act, we see it is much later after she had 'Defied Gravity' and turned against the Wizard. This could be days, months, or even years afterwards.
No age is given for Glinda in "The Wizard of Oz."
Specifically, author and Oz series originator Lyman Frank Baum (May 15, 1865 - May 6, 1919) gives no specific information regarding the ages of any of his characters in the original 1900 book edition of "The Wizard of Oz." According to the text, Glinda is as accomplished as she is beautiful. According to the illustrations, she may be as young as in her twenties (20s) and most likely is in her thirties (30s).
An age span of 20-35 is listed for actresses who audition for the role of Elphaba Thropp in the musical "Wicked."
Specifically, the musical begins with Elphaba as a freshman at Shiz University. It ends with her staged death under a well-aimed bucket of water thrown by Dorothy Gale. No information is given in the musical as to Elphaba's age, but the book upon which the play is based gives her an age of 38 at "death."
Not sure if she's the complete youngest, but Danna Paola plays Elphaba in Mexico City. She is currently 18 years of age.
No, Glinda and Elphaba are only friends. Elphaba and Nessarose are sisters.
In the book version of 'Wicked', Elphaba and Fiyero die. Fiyero is killed. Elphaba Thropp, who also is called the Wicked Witch of the West, also dies. But the book includes the information that a witch never dies a true death. Elphaba is a witch, and therefore she will be back.In the musical version of 'Wicked', Elphaba and Figyero only appear to die. Fiyero is changed into a Scarecrow and therefore survives the torture of the Wizard of Oz's guards. Everyone is led to believe that water destroys Elphaba. So Dorothy Gale throws water on Elphaba, who appears to melt. Elphaba actually makes a successful escape through a trap door. She and Fiyero then leave the lands of Oz, for a fresh start elsewhere.

Elphaba did not kill Madame Morrible. G(a)linda arrested her.
Elphaba and Fyero Runs off-to fake Elphaba's death-and I'm guessing to have Liir-he's Fyero's and Elphaba's son.
Elphaba was created in 1995.

It is the same form as when it lived
Well the whole plot is different and many of the questions the reader has are left unanswered. The biggest differences between the musical and the book are that - Elphaba could have died there was no proof she lived. - Galinda and Elphaba never make up, the last scene with them is just heart wrenching. -Fiyero is not the scarecrow she just hopes he is. -Elphaba has a son named Liir. -The love triangle between Elphaba and Fiyero never really exists it is between Fiyero's wife and Elphaba ( Fiyero's wife and most of their children die except one ) There is a lot more but that is most of it. Sorry of you didn't want it compared to the musical. All in all Maguire has a much darker ending.
The story about Elphaba's mother and the Wizard is in the song "No One Mourns the Wicked."
Yes! As long as she is on the lease. This is known as a voucher inheritence. Any family member who lived in the house -- and was on the lease-- when the voucher holder dies can have the voucher transferred to that family member.
