After a long and successful career on television including the hit series The Andy Griffith Show and Matlock, Andy Griffith passed away on July 3, 2012, at the age of 86 from a heart attack. He died at his home on Roanoke Island, North Carolina and was buried in the Griffith Family Cemetery on the island within five hours of his death.
Ron Howard was a Hollywood veteren even as a young child. After his years on The Andy Griffith Show he went on to star in the long-running series Happy Days.
Neither iconic actor was ever honored with an Emmy Award. Griffith is most famous as Sheriff Andy Taylor on "The Andy Griffith Show." He was never nominated as the pillar of Mayberry. But co-star Don Knotts, who played Andy's jittery deputy Barney Fife, won five supporting actor Emmys for that role. Griffith received a lone Emmy nomination in 1981 for his dramatic portrayal in the NBC miniseries "Murder In Texas." Hagman received two Emmy nominations as best actor in a drama series for his portrayal of J.R. Ewing on "Dallas." But he didn't win and received no other nominations during his long TV career. The late Barbara Bel Geddes, who played J.R.'s mother, "Miss Ellie," on the original "Dallas," was the only actor from that longrunning series to ever receive an acting Emmy. She won in 1980.

Before whom did Andy go? I also assume that we are "talking" about Andy Griffith, no? And "go with," I assume means date, hmmm? At the onset of the show, Andy wasn't going with anyone until he met Peggy, the county nurse who was from a very well-to-do family & was a great sharpshooter which was an issue in one of the episodes when Peggy beat Andy at a riflery/skeet shooting contest. She didn't last very long on the show. Then he & Ellie, the pharmacist that was played by Eleanor Donohue who made a name for herself on "Father Knows Best" with Robert Young. I thinkshe died from an overdose of something - though I am most definitely NOT sure of that. There were some very, very cute episodes with Ellie. Then in comes Helen, the school teacher who I did NOT like one bit. She was extremely uptight probably b/c Andy never gave her any. Ya think as well? In the movie, "Return to Mayberry," Helen & Andy are married & Opie (Ron Howard) is all grown up & etc...etc... Oh, & Otis, the town drunk was in it as well. Otis was great!!! - hope that answers the question(s). CLL, Georgia Watch TV Land for episodes. hahahaha

He has had three wifes - In chronological order they are: Barbara Griffith (1949-1972) Solica Cassuto (1975-1981) Cindi Knight (1983-present)
Ellie Walker was the first, but she wasn't around long. i think only the first season. she was a pharmacist
She has obviously been writing for a long time, but she has been a published writer since 1995.
If you mean the actor Andy Griffith, who played the sheriff of Mayberry NC, the person was married 3 times. If you mean his character, the sheriff, yes, he was married, had a son (Opie) and his wife died before the timeline of the TV show. However, in the first episode of the spin-off Mayberry RFD, Andy and Helen Crump (his long time girlfriend) DO get married.
1992
she has been a writer for a long time because she writer lots of intersting book such as fariy books and fariy and pet books
