Governor is symbolic head of the state, while the Chief Minister is real head of the state. The Governor is appointed by the President of India while the chief minister happens to be chosen by majority party in the Legislative Assembly of the state. The Governor acts more like an agent of the Central Government in the State and remains in office till the pleasure of the President or five years. Chief minister remains in office till h/she enjoys confidence of the state legislature or five years.
The Governor General of Canada represents the head of State, Her Majesty the Queen of Canada. The Governor General performs most of the Queen's functions, exercising the powers of the Crown on the advice of the prime minister, and sometimes other ministers. The Governor General summons, prorogues and dissolves the legislature, appoints the prime minister and ministers, and appoints key federal judicial and public service positions on the advice of the prime minister and the Government of the day.
The prime minister, on the other hand, is the head of Government and advises the Governor General (and sometimes the Queen) on how to exercise executive power and the royal prerogatives. The prime minister is appointed by the Governor General as the person able to command a majority of voices of the House of Commons.
The Governor General exercises formal executive authority, but on the constitutional "advice" of the prime minister.

Canada's government is a constitutional monarchy which means a king or queen shares power with an elected leader. the queen of England, queen elisabeth II has no political power over Canada any more and is just a political figurehead or a ceramonial leader. the prime minister, steven Harper has all the power.
Canada has a Governor General (the Queen's representative), who exercises the governmental powers of the Queen on the advice of the prime minister. Each province of Canada also has a Lieutenant Governor, who perform the same function on a provincial scale. Each territory has a commissioner, who perform the same functions as a Lieutenant Governor but as representatives not of the Queen, but of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Federal Interlocutor of Métis and Non-Status Indians.
If they are from the same political party, then the French President has more power (he is the only to have the power in the government). If they are not, the Prime Minister leads the government, not the President. But it happened only once since 1954.

It depends on the country, as different political systems have varying levels of power allocated to governors versus chief ministers. In general, chief ministers tend to have more power than governors because they are elected leaders responsible for running the government at the state or provincial level. Governors often represent the central government and have more ceremonial and supervisory roles.
prime minister
The Governor General is Canada's top official. The Governor General outranks the Prime Minister in the Canadian order of precedence, and is second only to the Queen, while the Prime Minister comes after all members of the royal family. The Governor General is generally accorded the protocol of a Head of State as the representative of the Queen, while the Prime Minister is accorded the protocol of a Head of Government, which is a lower rank. However, despite this, the Governor General is required by convention to almost always follow the Prime Minister's "advice", so while the Governor General has more authority, the Prime Minister has more actual power.
Yes, these figures are all the most powerful at the national level, with the exception of the French Prime Minister who is often less powerful than the French president. At an international level, the US president is more powerful, as the US has more influence than the United Kingdom or France does individually.
The answer is...yes. It has both a President (currently Gjorge Ivanov) and a Prime Minister. The Prime Minister is the Chief Executive and the President is more of a figurehead.
No, the President of South Korea is considered to be more powerful than the Prime Minister.
the lieutant governor
The questions proceeds from a misconception. The Governor General's role, while mostly ceremonial, actually yields more power than people realise. The Governor General has the power to remove the Prime Minister, but this power has only ever been utilised once in Australia's history.
They actually have equal power, because those are the exact same things...
he was made a chief of command in the military
The Prime Minister is more senior. He or she is in charge of the entire county. Premiers are in charge of provinces or states
power brakes are more powerful
