Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993) marked the second time Jason was officially killed according to studio canon. Through unexplained resurrection, he returns to Crystal Lake, where he is hunted by the FBI. The FBI sets up a sting to kill Jason, which proves successful. Through mystical possession, however, Jason survives by passing his demon-infested heart from one being to the next. Though Jason does not physically appear throughout most of the film, it is learned he has a half-sister and a niece, and that he needs them to retrieve and reinhabit his body. After resurrecting it, Jason is stabbed by his niece Jessica Kimble (Kari Keegan) and dragged into Hell.
Years of being shot, stabbed, burned, beaten, electrocuted and chained underneath a lake
Jason was the son of Aeson, the King of Thessaly. Aeson's half-brother, Pelias, overthrew him and slew all of Aeson's children and family. Jason only survived because his mother Alcimede, made it appear that Jason was still born. Jason was taken to Chiron the centaur to be educated. Meanwhile, Pelias, ever fearful of being cast down by a rightful ruler, as most usurpers are, consulted an oracle who bade him to beware a man wearing one sandal. Many years later, Jason traveled to Iolcus to confront Pelias, and on the way lost a sandal in the river Anauros while helping an old woman cross. The old woman was Hera in disguise and she blessed Jason for his efforts. Once in the city, Pelias recognized Jason as the man from the prophecy and put forth as task that he hoped Jason would never return from: to retrieve the Golden Fleece from Colchis.
Medea killed her children to 'protect' them from being killed out of revenge for what she did to the princess.Answer 2:Or rather to get her revenge on Jason.
Jason is not a god. He is the son of Aeson, his mother being either Polymele, the daughter of Autolycus. Alcimede the daughter of Cephalus or Phylacus, and Clymene, Minyas' daughter. Amphinome who might have been a daughter of Pelias. Or another woman. Jason married Medea and later attempted to wed Creusa (sometimes referred to as Glauce) daughter of Creon.
There is no "real" story of Jason Voorhees, since he is a fictional character. He does not exist, and has never existed, except in people's imagination. The FICTIONAL story of Jason Voorhees is as follows: Jason was an ugly looking child who was born on Friday the 13th. His mother was a cook at Camp Crystal Lake. Jason was teased by other children at the camp and pushed into the lake where he drowned. His mother went nuts and started killing people every Friday the 13th at the camp, but she was killed by a young girl in self-defence. Jason the young boy who rose from the dead saw his mother being killed by the girl. And then Jason lived in the woods, eating animals. He killed a girl for the first time one Friday the 13th. Since Jason was bullied as a child, the only person he trusted was his mother. So after she was killed, Jason lived alone in the woods, killing anyone he didn't trust.
Ishbosheth may not have been in the battle or managed to escape by being on the other side of the valley.

The name (and mascot) is taken from the story "Jason & The Argonauts", Jason being the leader and the Argonauts being his boatmen.
Doubt it because if you could imagine being send to a concentration camp and being forced to do physical labour and always scared of you being next in line of being killed and having your friends of family being killed, also hearing people especially children screaming when getting killed. That does F*CK up your head and traumatise you. the thought of that today witness the holocaust first hand Will never go away BUT he could be reluctant because of he being been tortured and scared, he knows that the pain and knows that suffering is other for now
This is a good question...Freddy was a child murderer who was burned alive in his house by parents who were sick of their kids being killed and nobody doing anything about it Im thinking freddy is older than Jason. I could be wrong.....on all this though haha
Medea believed that her magic powers could make old King Pelias young again. She convinced his daughters to cut him into pieces and put him in a cauldron with a magic potion, but the plan failed. This act ultimately led to Medea being banished from the kingdom.
