Actually according to the Bedford/St. Martins text Literature, edited by Janet E. Gardner, Beverly Lawn, Jack Ridl, and Peter Schakel, style has nothing to do with the way you look. It is the "diction (choice of words), syntax (arrangement of words), and other linguistic features of a literary work." Linguistic refers to language, not appearance. So while it would seem that it would have to do with the way you look, it is actually the way the spoken word is used. The book goes on to say "style distinguishes one writer's language from anothers" This is not saying whether they write in English or Spanish, but rather the manner in which they write. The examples given in the book are Faulkner and Hemingway.
As for the tone, it is not a literal projection of voice, it is the figurative tone used to portray what kind of attitude the playwright wants you to have toward the character. The book states "The implied attitude, or "stance," toward the subject and toward the reader or audience in a literary work; the "tone of voice" it seems to project (serious or playful; exaggerated or understated; formal or informal; ironic or straightforward; or a complex mixture of more than one of these)."
I hope this helped and I would recommend for anyone who is seriously studying literature, poetry, or plays to try to get a copy of this book. It is exceptional!
ORIGINAL ANSWER:
Style is all about the way you look and you need to have a style that resembles you so if you don't have that well then people might think something is wrong with you. Tone is the way you progress your voice and if you don't have a loud tone and a tone that works with you then people might not be able to hear you correctley or know what it is you're saying. That is how style and tone will develop a play.

The most important characteristic of a musical tone, or a note, is pitch. Pitch is the musical term for how high or low a note sounds. In physics, pitch is the same thing as frequency. In other words, a musical tone is a sound whose sound waves are a specific length. The frequency of each note is agreed upon internationally, according to the traditions of classical music. These standard frequencies have shifted slightly over time. In the baroch era, notes were probably just a little bit higher than they are now. Also it is the type of style of music you are playing. For example in GALACTIC CONFLICT you play aggressively than peacefully than back to aggressive. Or in Prehistoric Suite there is ponderous, gentle/flowing, and dramatic.

Tone is the author's attitude towards the subject matter, while style is the way the author expresses themselves. The tone can heavily influence the overall style of writing by shaping the language and the unique voice used to convey the message. For example, a humorous tone may result in a more playful and light-hearted style, while a formal tone may lead to a more structured and serious style.
