What can't we use step-up transformer to increase the voltage by producing electricity of lower voltage?

This question is not understandable. You can use a step up transformer to increase voltage; you can't increase voltage by producing electricity at a lower voltage; this will result in current flow into your generator, not current flow out (similar to operating a generator in the leading mode). Please explain further under "discuss question".

Do the induced voltage increase in a transformer when the magnetic field strength increase?

Yes, the more voltage you put in the more you get out. If the transformer is a 2 - 1 ratio and you put 240 in you get 120 out and when you put 480 in you get 240 out. Magnetic field strength and voltage have a direct relationship. +++ The field strength is actually a function of current, although as you say, increasing the voltage will increase the current hence the magnetic field.

Why secondary terminal voltage decreases with increase in load?

An increase in load (equivalent to a decrease in resistance*) causes an increase in load current. This increases the internal voltage drop within the transformer, and the terminal voltage reduces accordingly.[*An increase in load means more current is being drawn by that load, so an increase in load is equivalent to a decrease in load resistance]

A transformer is a device used to increase or decrease dc voltage?

The answer below this is not correct, a transformer can only be used on AC not DC. So the statement, "A transformer is a device used to increase or decrease DC voltage" is false The above comment relates to an entry which was obviously deleted. However, the above comment is also false. The ignition coil in of a petrol engine is a transformer, a pulse transformer. It's d.c. which passes through the primary, not a.c. <<>> A: this is a passive component as opposed to a device that is active answer is yes it does that but more importantly it isolates and match in/out impedance's

What is the name of the transformer that reduces the voltage?

a step down transformer is used to lower the voltage from the powerlines into your home. a common slang term for this type of transformer is a pole pig.

A transformer can only the voltage of an alternating current?

A transformer can only increase or decrease the voltage of an alternating current, and it is called step-up transformer or step-down transformer accordingly.

If a step-up transformer is to increase voltage it needs?

A step-up transformer needs more turns on the secondary windings than on the primary windings to increase the voltage.

What is the name of the component that is used to increase or decrease alternating voltage?

A transformer is used to increase or decrease alternating voltage.

What is a transformer called that increases voltage?

A transformer that increases voltage is called a step-up transformer. It has more turns in the secondary coil than in the primary coil, which allows it to increase the voltage output.

What type of device is used to increase or decrease the voltage of an electric current?

The device used to increase or decrease the voltage of an electric circuit is a step up transformer or a step down transformer respectively. A Variable Resistor

What is used to increase or decrease voltage that enters a house?

A transformer can be used, either a step-up or step-down transformer, to deliver the power at a different voltage from the normal supply voltage.

Step up transformer is used to increase the?

A step up transformer is used to step up an AC voltage

How do transformers reduce electrical voltage?

This type of transformer is called a Step-Down transformer. All transformers have an input to output ratio. The transformers that increase voltage are called Step-up, and the transformers that protect against surges are called unity gain. The Unity gain transformer has a 1:1 ratio and provide a mechanical way to isolate a source of voltage from a load.

In transformer how can you increase or decrease the voltage?

In a transformer, you increase or decrease the voltage by changing the turns ratio between the primary or secondary windings. Increase the turns on primary, and secondary voltage goes down. Increase the turns on secondary, and secondary voltage goes up. Note that this usually involves choosing a different transformer, as changing the turns ratio is not something that can be easily done in the field. Some transformers have multiple taps on one of the windings which can be used to change turns ratio.

How does a stabilizer?

A home voltage stabilizer reduces (buck) or increases (boost) the out put voltage for respective increase and decrease in line voltage. To reduce output voltage the relay cutoff some transformer winding turns, and to increase output voltage the relay add some transformer winding turns in predefined steps.

Can you increase or decrease an ac voltage?

yes, by stepping it up or down with a transformer.
