You can start to feel better about yourself, by looking at yourself in detail. You will start to feel better as you work on improving yourself internally, externally, and within your environment. One thing you can do is a SWOT analysis on yourself. Make a list of all your Strengths, and do not be afraid to toot your horn. All of us have strengths. Then list all of your Weaknesses, and we all have weaknesses, Next, list all the Opportunities that are there for you. All of us have opportunities. Maybe the opportunity for furthering your education, work on to physical strength (body), health, appearance, confidence etc. Lastly, list all of your Threats; things that you feel might interfere with you accomplishing your goals and objectives. The objective is to maximize your strengths and opportunities, while minimizing your weaknesses and threats. This is not a spontaneous event, but one that occurs over time and you must be patient and persistent. As you start working on yourself, you will notice a change over time; the way you feel about yourself and your environment. Is it easy? No. Will it occur? Yes! Still, if you do not take steps (however small), nothing will happen, and you will be saying the same thing about yourself months from now. Acquire a vision for yourself; a clearly articulated picture of the future you intend to create for yourself, and the benefit it will bring to others as well as yourself. It's a dream! However, if you do not develop a road-map for yourself (like developing a SWOT analysis for one), it will never become a reality for you. Keep the vision in front of you at all times, be committed and dedicated, persevere even in the mist of some set-backs, and do not get discouraged. As time goes by you will see yourself in a much more positive way, and in addition, others will also.
