to go back to something means you've been there so your either talking about the movie or already know the answer.
in the unlikely event that your asking about time travel then you would, in theory, have to creating a wormhole and loop it to itself at a later time or by generating enough energy to fold space time around yourself and collapsing it back onto you; both attempts could theoretically destroy the universe
if the universe was destroyed the laws of physics would dictate that matter pop into existence due to laws of quantum mechanics and the impossibility of nothing. on a side note looping a wormhole into itself at a latter time is most easily done out of the two but the major flaw to it is any attempt to go into it would destroy the occupant due to acceleration and the limited hold of matter.
Back to the Future is an exciting movie that the famous director Steven Spielberg (E.T. The Extra Terrestrial, Schindler's List, Saving Pirate Ryan, Jaws, Jurassic Park, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and I think Land Before Time) created. An average teenager named Marty McFly (played by Michael J. Fox) is dealing with the hardest years of life, High School! Marty becomes great friends with inventor Dr. Emmet Brown (played by Christopher Lloyd). Dr. Brown (who Marty nicknames Doc) invents a time machine out of a car (a DeLorean) but when things suddenly go bad, Marty has to jump into the time machine to escape terrorists that are chasing him. When the car hits a speed of 88 miles per hour, it travels into the past or future. The car hits 88 miles and Marty travels into the year 1955. When he arrives he accidently prevents his parents from meeting, which means he was never born. He manages to find Doc in 1955 and Doc tells him the only way he can return to the future is if a lightning bolt strikes and gives the car energy. Marty needs to figure out how to have his parents fall in love in time for when the lightning bolt strikes. Watching this movie not only makes you think, it also is a great joy to watch! You'll watch it over and over and over again, never getting tired of it!
Many serious scientific papers have proposed answers to this question, most involve string theory, faster than light speeds and wormholes. In short the laws of the universe don't seem to prohibit this activity. Scientists like Stephen Hawking and Richard Feynman have published papers on the potential. The physical realization of the process may have been accomplished at the subatomic level, but so far no H.G. Wells time machine has been produced.

Because he does not want him to die so soon.
You cannot.
You go back to the lab using your transporting device and turn the future machine back on. then, you go to the future and go up the elevator to the monorails and go to the future house where your future self will be waiting. No, but there might be advancements in the future to go back in time.
yes, but it's the future, not the past. he comes back with you, and then he takes dusknoir and they go through the dimensional hole back to the alternate future.
