With these cars, it's more than often a problem with the hubs. They get dirty and sticky and don't engage after a few years. Rarely, you may have a problem with the transfer case. There is a tutorial on how to check if it's your hubs or your transfer case. It requires you to be able to jack the front wheels up off of the ground. I hope it helps!
