Sharks do lack real bones except for in there jaw. Without jaw bones sharks would not be able to survive because they would not be able to eat.
I think the animal with the strongest jaw is the crocodile.
There are many different sharks, but I do not know which could be called, "Regular". But, assuming that you are asking about the shark jaw of a fish, and not the mechanical tool called a, "Shark jaw", the common range is from 2 inches to 15 inches, in my opinion. (There are lots of foot-long sharks in people's aquariums, and of course, in the ocean; hence, the 2" size) Of course, the jaw of, say, a great white shark can be significantly larger, while the largest shark jaw known (a fossilized shark) is over 12 feet in size, fully opened. If you want to own this monster jaw, you can buy it for around $500 million, as I understand it.
I don't know perfectly what the answer is but what I do know is that they are HUGE I watched this show and a fully grown man could fit into the sharks mouth so I would say it is extremely big.
The nickname given to the mechanical shark by it's handlers was 'Bruce'. Correction: the sharks name "Bruce" came from Steven Speilbergs attorney. Joe Alves was Bruce the sharks handler.

No, sharks are not jawless fishes. They are Cartilaginous fishes
sharks teeth? sharks have the most powerful jaws on the planet:). And a shark bites with it lower jaw first and then it upper. If sharks lose a teeth a grow anouther one. The Goblin Shark has a retractable jaw
he has reproductive organs wich means he can rape other sharks (cool huh?) also it is not jaw less it's jawless, retard
YES! Sharks are fish and whales are mammals: they breathe air with lungs and nurse their young. Also Sharks only have bone in their jaw bone. The support for the rest of their body is cartilage.
Sharks do not have bones, they have skeletons made of cartilage.
No. there is no bone in a sharks body. The sharks skeleton is made of cartilage.
The big one is their jaw suspension. its alot to look at but just google like hyostylic jaw suspension. basicly the jaw is suspended from the cranium by a hyomandibular arch. the "Bones" that make it up are homologous with less primitive fishes as well as our, human, inner ear.
Sharks do not have chins as we know them on humans. Their lower jaw is made up of cartilage and does not protrude or create a distinct chin like mammals. Sharks have a streamlined body design that helps them efficiently move through the water.
No.Sharks have a cartilaginous skeleton.(Although very large sharks, like C. Megalodon and other extinct megatooth sharks, had vertebral centra so hard that they fossilized in a similar way as bone tissue.)
