In one of episodes in season 3 elena said if klaus dies (the eye thing he did to stefan)in order to make him turn off his humanity wont work anymore and damon said that stefan cant control his craving for blood. But stefan has been throw this before and he can fight with it again. That means he can get back his humanity.but i only think this im not sure.but i think his humanity is in him some where.
