That's a new model by LG I believe in September. I checked bestbuy and walmart and they do not have this TV.
I think LG does
Seiki TV's are made by the company Seiki Digital. The company is owned by Tsinghua Tongfang Company, a Chinese company.
I don't show a code yet for that brand of TV, however, you can perform a power scan to see if you can find a code on the remote that will work. I have provided the power scan instructions.Remote: Basic Remote (Television Only)Turn the Television On.Press and hold the clear TV button for three seconds until the LED flashes.Press and release the red TV Power button.Press and release the Up or Down Arrow button once every second on the remote until the television turns off. After the television turns off, press and release the OK button.Test functionality with the TV.Return to Step 2 if the remote is not able to turn the TV On/Off, change the volume and mute the television.Just did some research and found that SEIKI is made in LG so I used a LG code on my dish and it worked the code that worked for me was 718 hopes this helps others
For the SE241TS I used the LG TV in the "Most Popular" list and the on, off, volume, mute worked. For the "Source" button I used the "Learned" function on the remote using the Input-Pair button, the Page Up and Page Down, and the Select buttons. Using the Seiki choice in the alpha list did not work for me.
LG makes lots of TV. They make TVs of all sizes, 3D TVs, and many more.
Most Seiki tv use Samsung parts try codes from them
LG only make passive 3D television. They do not supply any models that are active 3D.
I heard from a saleman at HHGregg that Seiki uses Samsung parts. And for anyone who can't get their Comcast or Direct TV remote to learn the Seiki code... try using a Samsung code. It worked for me, I used code 10178!
Avoid Magnavox.
Lg is the company formerly known as, Zenith. LG stands for "Life's Good", and they make a wide variety of electronics ranging from Televisions, GPS, Cellphones, and even Washers and dryers.
2090
LG televisions use a passive 3D imaging system that reduces the effective image resolution to a mere 540 lines, lower in fact than the 576 lines of standard definition television. LG is worth considering but make sure you look at the fine products from other major manufacturers before making a decision.
dont turn it off
